Marcus Döring's cancer therapy:
catheters |
|
First of all, a catheter is installed to help the patient.
It makes the giving of infusions much easier and more comfortable.
The catheter is laid into a vein and taped to the respective body
location. It mainly consists of a) the needle or a very small
flexible plastic tube which is inserted into the vein and
of b) one or more screw caps to which the infusion cables
can be attached.

venous catheter or an arm
catheter look like.
