Marcus Döring's operation: retroperitoneal lymph node dissection

This operation was carried out on July 26, 2001.

It was done to make sure that no tumor mass remains in the area of the lower abdomen; also because the quality of the CT scans is limited when it comes to sizes of millimeters.
An operation with a visual check combined with an immediate pathological examination is state-of-the-art.
