Testicular cancer: treatment

[ --- Nota bene: Unless stated otherwise all information listed on this page was written and provided by a TC patient and not by a doctor. Although it was collected with great attention it cannot and shall in no way replace your visit to your local doctor! --- ]

Treatment. Treatment? There are a lot of treatment plans available. They differ slightly between the continents, and more basically between the different medical schools.

I think that mainly two streams are worth looking at: the conventional medical schools that use mainly operations, chemotherapy, and radiation therapy; and the stream we would like to call holistic because of the extent to which it aims to help a human being as a hole.

On the other hand there are quite a lot of quacks who,- sometimes intentionally, sometimes unintentionally,- try to make use of the fact that cancer patients are in desperate need of hope and help. So beware and always consult more than one group before you finally decide upon the options to chose.
